Responsibilities
The Non – Certified CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images under the direct supervision of a licensed CT Technologist. The Non – Certified CT Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, aiding in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS. The Non-Certified CT Technologist will complete all required competencies, exams, and didactics that are required to sit for and complete the ARRT CT examination within 6 months of hire. This is a training position in the CT department. The Non-Certified CT Technologist will work under the supervision of the certified CT Technologist until ARRT-CT certification has been obtained.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
2. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
3. Radiology state license is required.
4. Current ARRT- RT Certification is required upon hire
5. ARRT- CT Certification obtained within 6 months of hire.
6. Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
7. Proficient computer skills.
