Position Summary
This position is committed to providing world class service for all Donald L. Tucker Civic Center Parking Lots for all events and is responsible for the protection, outdoor protection and safeguarding of Guests and Employees and their vehicles. This position is committed to providing a positive first impression with World Class Service. The position requires physical activity including standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
This role pays an hourly rate of $14.75.

About the Venue
The Donald L. Tucker Civic Center features a 12,500-seat arena, 34 luxury suites, 476 club seats, over 54,000 sq. ft. of meeting and exhibition space and an arena view restaurant, the Spotlight Grille. The arena is home to Florida State Men’s and Women’s basketball and is known for its electric atmosphere and fierce home court advantage. Not only a music and sports venue, the arena also is frequently used for trade shows, large catered functions, receptions, religious services, and classes. Responsibilities
- Controlling/monitoring entry to the guests’ and employees’ parking lots
- Provide all guests a positive first impression by offering World Class Service
- Monitoring parking lots for safety and security of guests and employees and vehicles
- Provide guests with directions and other venue information
- Direct guests and employees to available parking spaces
- Ability to maximize amount of vehicles per lot
- Respond to all comments/complaints in a prompt, courteous and professional manner
- Cash Handling-collect cash and/or coupons and maintain security of cash
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance during all scheduled shifts
Qualifications
- Prior parking experience strongly preferred
- Customer Service and Cash Handling abilities are a must
- Must be polite, friendly and possess excellent interpersonal skills as this position has extensive guest and employee contact
- Ability to multi-task
- Must have reliable transportation
- The ability to work various hours as needed including nights and weekends
- The physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and walk long distances
- Ability to work outdoors with extreme heat and weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift a maximum of 25 pounds with or without
- Ability to visually observe close, distance, peripheral with or without accommodation
