Job Overview
Shriners Children's has a full time EVS Tech II position available; 11am-7pm. No weekends or on-call.
This position is an important part of our team because you will keep the patient's room clean so the patient and family can focus on healing.
The pay range for this position is $18.24 hourly to $24.81 hourly. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and department equity.
Responsibilities
- Performs duties related to preventive and corrective cleaning procedures.
- Is able to perform all Tech I responsibilities including but not limited to the 7 Step Cleaning Method, the 8 Step Cleaning Method for washrooms, making up of surgery beds, carts and spine beds as needed,
- Moves furniture, equipment and supplies, set-up tables and chairs for functions. Operates buffers, scrubbers, extractors and other equipment.
- Strips, waxes, buffs and mops floor.
- Removes bio-hazard waste, pharmacy waste, trash, recycling and soiled linen, and transports to appropriate area. The Tech II position is considered a lead shift position.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education
High school diploma/GED preferred
Experience
1 year experience in a housekeeping role required
