Job Summary and Responsibilities
Reports to the Director of Surgical Services. Responsibilities include assessment, planning,
intervention, evaluation and documentation of surgical patients. Overall responsibility is for the nursing
care of patients and for maintaining standards of nursing practice and optimal outcomes, including
supervision of OR Technicians.
This position is represented by CNA and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Current California Registered Nurse license
Graduate of an accredited RN program
Current approved health care provider CPR - AHA BLS certification within 30 days of employment
Current ACLS or completion of ACLS course within 30 days of employment
- Current PALS or completion of PALS course within 30 days of employment
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
