Job Description
The Omni Richmond Hotel is hiring for a friendly, hard-working individual to join our Housekeeping team as a Public Space Attendant. In this position, this individual will service and maintain the cleanliness of all public areas - including public and associate restrooms, lobbies and executive offices in accordance with Omni Standards.
Full-Time
PAY RATE: $15.50 - $16.50 based on experience. Must be available to work evenings.
Responsibilities
Job responsibilities include, but no limited to...
- Ensuring that the hotel lobbies are serviced throughout the day.
- Servicing all public restrooms in lobby, fitness center, pool area, and executive offices .
- Servicing both men's and ladies associate restrooms and locker room.
- Servicing lobby pre-function space.
- Ensuring the main guest and employee entrances are neat and clean at all times.
- Ensuring all floral arrangements and plants are neat with no debris in the planters.
- Ensuring all ash urns throughout property are neat and clean at all times.
- Servicing guest and associate elevators.
- Ensuring that hotel, guest and associates are maintained in a safe and secure environment.
- Completing any special projects that might be assigned.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or any concerns.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Able to maintain high cleanliness standards; Previous cleaning experience required.
- Able to work with Management on special projects.
- Able to work independently in a fast paced environment.
- Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position, such as move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance repeatedly.
- Must be able stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
- Must be 18 years or older
