Responsibilities
The Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) is responsible and accountable for the quality of nursing care provided to pediatrics patients by providing policies, procedures, clinical orientation, staff development, mentoring, consultation, and the maintenance of state and national standards of care. The CNS is responsible for the collection, submission, evaluation and dissemination of required data. The education plan is developed and implemented in consultation with the Nursing and Medical Directors.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State.
2. Current certification by the State Board of Nursing as a Clinical Nurse Specialist
3. Current BLS and PALS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $77,584.00 to $123,510.40 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
