Join our Perioperative Scheduler team. As a Perioperative Scheduler you will:
- Schedule surgical and anesthesia care provider procedures within established guidelines.
- Coordinate resources available for maximum utilization.
- Obtain patient and procedural information, prints, distributes, and updates schedules. Keeps statistical information.
- Perform computer data entry and retrieval.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Schedule: 10 hour shift coverage
This is a PRN position (5 shifts scheduled in a 6-week period). This position is used to cover call-offs, vacations, and where coverage may be needed. PRN is not eligible for benefits but does offer a 15% differential on top of the base rate of pay.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- Three years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong computer skills
- High School Diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements-Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
