Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics
Location: 20577 Amberfield Dr, Land O Lakes, Florida 34638
Schedule: Part Time Mon - Fri. Center Hours: Mon-Thurs 7-7, Fri 7-5
Compensation: $26/hr - $30/hr. Starting hourly rate calculated by experience.
Select Physical Therapy is now hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a Part Time outpatient opportunity up to 24 hours weekly. Experienced PTA with minimum of 1 yr experience in outpatient orthopedics, APPLY! Join our team treating general outpatient orthopedic conditions (non-op, pre-op post-op), neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports medicine, amputees, fall prevention and ACL. Let's foster your growth!
Responsibilities
- Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
- Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
- Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications
- College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Minimum 1 yr experience working in outpatient orthopedics.
- Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process)
- CPR Certification
