Job Summary and Responsibilities
The Director will be responsible for day-to-day operations of our Surgical Services unit and general oversight of the Family Birth Center.
Join our dedicated Surgical Services team at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital where we deliver comprehensive surgical care in four operating rooms, including a dedicated C-section suite. Annually, we perform approximately 2000 cases, encompassing a wide range of specialties such as general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, orthopedic trauma, and C-sections, as well as various endoscopy procedures. Our commitment to excellence ensures that patients receive the highest quality of surgical care in a supportive and advanced environment.

Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (e.g. BSN) or equivalent education and experience and Master's degree in nursing or other-related field (e.g., MSN/MBA/MHA).
- Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience and three (3) years of nursing leadership experience (preferably in either Surgical Services or Womens/Childrens Services)
- Current California RN license (or ability to obtain one in California)
