Job Description
Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU is seeking a Housekeeper (Room Attendant) to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our guest rooms, ensuring that every guest experiences the highest standards of comfort and luxury. Your attention to detail, commitment to quality, and dedication to delivering exceptional service will contribute to the overall guest satisfaction and uphold the Omni brand's reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean guest rooms including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Restock and replace used items within guest rooms.
- Complete daily task sheet assignment in a timely manner.
- Communicate clean status of each room upon completion.
- Stock supply cart and ensure that it is neat and well organized at all times.
- Respond to all hotel guests efficiently and in an appropriately friendly manner.
- Maintain and protect equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in floor linen closets.
- Report and monitor guest room maintenance issues.
- Understand both Houseperson and Public Space positions well enough to perform duties in associates’ absence.
- Maintain highest levels of cleanliness throughout the hotel property.
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects as assigned.
- Anticipate, listen, and follow through with all the guests’ requests in a timely manner.
- Communicate any needs or concerns within the hotel with the appropriate departments.
- Follow all Loss Prevention procedures regarding guest property, safety, and security.
- Reporting any concerns to department managers or loss prevention in a timely manner.
- Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications
- Hotel housekeeping experience is required.
- Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
- Move, bend, lift up to 35 pounds, carry, push and/or pull up to 150 pounds without assistance.
- Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
This position is a full-time, on-site position with no work from home flexibility.
The salary is $19.75 / hour.
