As the Sr. Specialist, Fleet Safety & DOT Compliance, you will assist in the development and implementation of the Chick-fil-A Supply ™ DOT Compliance programs within the Safety, Quality and Compliance (“SQC”) function. Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy, completeness and timely processing of Driver files and applicant information to meet D.O.T regulations and company policies
- Identify and decrease redundancy in the onboarding DQ file review process
- Manage all aspects of the drug & alcohol program
- Coordinate drug screens, testing & physicals
- Maintain and audit for FMCSA compliance
- All other compliance support as needed
- Project management as needed to include, development, training and implementation
- Exercise quality management practices and reviews of all internal and external processes and systems affecting all departmental procedures
- Administer programs to assist in regulatory compliance; drug and alcohol, physical, annual reviews, etc
- Data integrity
- Ensure all transportation operations and driver files comply with DOT regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of driver qualifications, hours of service, vehicle maintenance, and other compliance-related documentation
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with DOT standards. Address any violations or discrepancies promptly
- Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies as needed
- Monitor and analyze compliance data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Work closely with the operations team, drivers, and talent to ensure a culture of safety and compliance
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency
- 1+ required or the equivalent in a Transportation or Fleet Safety and Compliance roles
- Communication skills, experience with regulatory agencies required (DOT), knowledge of FMCSA Regulations
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-starter able to work independently or in a group, adapt to shifting priorities, and who enjoys reating and implementing new initiatives
- Ability to communicate well with team members and leaders to meet goals and deadlines
- Ability to multi-task and drive execution across multiple priorities
- Excellent at thoughtful and responsive communication - written, verbal and as a presenter
- Excellent at establishing, building and maintaining functional working relationships

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in DOT compliance with a degree or 3+ years with no college degree
- 3+ years of experience in a Transportation or Fleet Safety and Compliance roles
- In-depth understanding of DOT regulations and compliance requirements
