Responsibilities
Continuously observe cardiac monitors to detect arrhythmias and note any changes relative to each patient’s acceptable parameters.
Promptly report significant changes to the patient’s nurse and Patient Care Coordinator (PCC).
Perform assigned clerical duties to support the cardiopulmonary team.
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment, including proper care of equipment and supplies.
Promote cost-effective healthcare through the appropriate use of supplies and resources.
Qualifications
Education:
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and the successful completion of a cardiac dysrhythmias course.
Skills:
- Able to accurately interpret cardiac dysrhythmias.
- Basic familiarity with computers preferred.
Pay Range
