Position Overview:As an Orthodontic Assistant you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care by assisting the doctor in orthodontic procedures, treatment planning, and patient education. You will help maintain a well-organized practice by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, assisting in procedures and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for orthodontic procedures.
- Assist the doctor with patient treatment, positioning instruments, and handling orthodontic appliances.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, post-procedure care, and oral hygiene.
- Manage patient scheduling and assist with front-office tasks as needed.
- Support dentists and staff with treatment planning, billing, and insurance matters.
- Ensure accurate submission of expenses and invoices.
- Maintain office inventory, including supplies and equipment.
- Address patient and employee concerns professionally.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
- Must have at least 1 years of hands on experience
- Strong organizational and problem solving-skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
