Position Summary
OVG is looking for people to join our team at Canvas Stadium for the 20224 CSU Football Season and Moby Arena for CSU Volleyball and Basketball. The Concessions Worker will be responsible for greeting guests in a pleasant manner while filling food and beverage orders and collecting payment for purchased food and beverage items. The Concessions Worker will be responsible for preparing simple foods and beverages using company recipes and portion standards. They will assist in the cleanup and breakdown of the concessions area at the end of each event. Must have the ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to cash/credit transactions and product inventory. Concession Workers will also be required to work other Food and Beverage areas when needed. No prior experience needed, just a willingness to provide great service to our customers! This role will pay an hourly wage of $15.50 to $16.50 plus tips
Benefits for PT roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. Also, OVG provides part-time, seasonal, and internship employees with one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year.

Responsibilities
- Assists in ensuring all food & beverage products are fully stocked in designated location.
- Ensures quality of food presentation.
- Ability to assist in building orders, preparing food, packaging food, and knowledge in all areas of concessions operations.
- Responsible for maintaining stock and supply levels and communicating to management of low stock items.
- Listening and responding to customer requests or concerns
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace including but not limited to disposal of garbage & cleaning dishes.
- Serve beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages responsibly. Must check guest’s ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for purchase of alcoholic beverages.
- Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be 18 or over.
- Three or more months’ experience in the food service industry preferred.
- Previous experience in working with point of sales systems or computers.
- Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests
- Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.
