Responsibilities
Performs EEGs, ambulatory EEGs, and multiple sleep latency EEGs. Responsible for recording electrical activity of the patient's brain to study epilepsy, convulsive disorders and localizing lesions in the cerebrum. Performs clerical duties. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality (CQI) improvement activities.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. High School Diploma or Equivalent.2. Completion of educational program for EEG technicians preferred.3. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.4. 2 yrs experience as an EEG technician preferred5. Associate Degree in Electroneurodiagnostic technology from a school accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs preferred6. Certification from the American Board of Registered Electroencephalographic Technologies (ABRET) preferred

Shasta Regional Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $22.94 to $31.76. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
