Overview:Seven Hills Pediatric Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinician to provide high-quality therapeutic care to children, adolescents, and their families in a residential setting. As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, the Clinician will deliver evidence-based treatment, promote emotional well-being, and support each individual’s path toward healing and growth. This role combines direct clinical service, collaboration, and thoughtful care planning to ensure that every child receives the individualized, trauma-informed support they deserve.
This position serves at the Medically Complex Behavioral Residence in Groton, Massachusetts, providing individualized, trauma-informed care for youth ages 12–18 with both complex medical and behavioral needs in a supportive and therapeutic environment.
Responsibilities
Provide individual, family, and group therapy to youth and families, using evidence-based and trauma-informed practices.
Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans with clear goals, measurable outcomes, and appropriate discharge criteria.
Conduct assessments, coordinate care, and ensure treatment aligns with medical necessity and best-practice standards.
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including clinical, medical, and residential staff to support holistic care.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the agency’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) and other required systems.
Attend and actively participate in team meetings, case reviews, supervision, and professional development opportunities.
Participate in 24-hour emergency service coverage rotation, as required by program needs.
Promote client-centered, culturally responsive care that emphasizes inclusion, empathy, and respect.
Ensure all services meet HIPAA and agency compliance standards while upholding the highest ethical and professional practices.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field required.
1–3 years of experience providing clinical services to children, adolescents, or families preferred.
Licensed or license-eligible in Massachusetts (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist).
CANS certification (or willingness to obtain).
Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team-based environment and respond to crises with professionalism and care.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in residential or behavioral health settings.
Knowledge of trauma-informed and strengths-based care approaches.
Demonstrated commitment to inclusion, equity, and cultural competency in clinical practice.
