Job Summary and Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular imaging procedures under the direction of a physician. This includes assisting in cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, stent placements, and other vascular procedures. The technologist ensures high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout the procedures.
Essential Duties:
Prepare and position patients for cardiovascular imaging procedures.
Operate fluoroscopic and digital imaging equipment during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Assist physicians with catheterization and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and radiation protection protocols.
- Prepare sterile fields and maintain aseptic technique.
Perform equipment quality control and notify supervisors of maintenance needs.
Educate and support patients and families before, during, and after procedures.

Job Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Two (2)-years of current Radiology Technologist and hands-on scrub including interventional experience.
- Completion of approved JRCERT Radiologic Technologist Program
Licensure:
- Current Radiology License CRT
- Current Arizona State License (MRTBE)
- Current American Heart Association ACLS (preferred) and BLS certifications
