Position Summary
The Director of Global Partnerships will serve as a key leader with access to sell across OVG’s global portfolio and specific accountability to strategically drive new business revenue for our Pacific Northwest properties.
The Director will be responsible for achieving ambitious individual and departmental sales goals through effective prospecting, pipeline management, relationship-building, business acumen, solution-oriented ideation, and skilled negotiation. While also contributing to shaping long-term strategy and ensuring integration of OVG’s full suite of property benefits and business lines.
Collaboration and organizational alignment will be central to success. The Director will work cross-functionally to ensure cohesive strategies, creative storytelling, and consistent delivery of value to partners. The ideal candidate is a senior-level sales leader who combines vision with execution, thrives on building relationships at the executive level, and demonstrates creativity, resilience, and strategic thinking in every interaction.
This role pays an annual salary of $115,000-$164,000 and is bonus eligible

Responsibilities
- Prospect, build, and convert new business efforts as it relates to corporate sponsorships and advertising across Seattle’s robust, multi-property portfolio, including but not limited to Climate Pledge Arena, Seattle Kraken, Kraken Hockey Network, Kraken Community Iceplex, PWHL Seattle, Seattle Center, Seattle Monorail, Memorial Stadium, as well as other third-party clients
- Excel in pipeline management, ensuring consistent and strategic prospecting activity, timely follow-up, and conversion
- Meet with prospective corporate partners and outside agencies at their place of work
- Collaborate across business lines and properties to create integrated, innovative solutions for prospective partners
- Design sales proposals and presentations for potential corporate partners with the assistance of business solutions team
- Lead senior-level negotiations. Review advertising and sponsorship contracts; identify issues with contract language; address issues with and make recommendations for resolution; negotiate corporate sales investment and other rates as required
- Achieve corporate partnership revenue goals and department budgets
- Provide mentorship, driving best-in-class sales processes and ideation, guidance, and performance leadership to the Corporate Partnerships team
- Represent OVG at senior-level meetings, industry events, and high-profile partnership discussions
- Consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
- Interact in a professional manner with senior-level management
- Oversee select event night department responsibilities; act as Manager on Duty as required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of corporate partnerships, sponsorship, or business development experience, preferably in sports, media, and entertainment
- Proven track record of closing significant partnership deals and delivering measurable revenue growth
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation abilities, with a focus on building executive-level relationships
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance creativity and business acumen
- Collaborative mindset with a strong cultural fit—organization-first, department-second, individual-third
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in sales, business administration, hospitality management, or other related field
- Principles and practices of accounting including budget preparation and control
- Ability to spend time on the road conducting sales pitches to new prospective clients
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills are essential for interactions with clients, operational leaders, and other senior executives
