Pay: $35.25/Hr.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain medical policies and procedures in collaboration with the Health Care Supervisor and Assistant Vice President.
  • Coordinate medical services with physicians, clinics, residential providers, and families.
  • Administer and document medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Provide first aid, emergency care, and triage for participants and staff.
  • Document interventions and participate in Support Plan processes and case conferences.
  • Conduct pre-admission reviews of medical histories and needs for prospective participants.
  • Assist participants with personal care needs, including dining, toileting, and transfers.
  • Train staff and participants in relevant medical and health-related program areas.
  • Foster dignity, respect, and growth in participants, ensuring age- and culturally appropriate care.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of related experience.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.
  • CPR/First Aid required.
  • Valid Class C or D standard driver’s license required.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong adaptability, flexibility, and communication skills.
  • Expertise in daily living assistance, health and wellness promotion, and first aid.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to handle diverse medical needs.
