Responsibilities
WHAT YOU DO
Under the supervision of the Pastry Chef, you prepare breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries for all F&B outlets per established recipes. You use your attention to detail to ensure all food items are plated professionally. You assist in determining the appropriate quantity of baked goods for each F&B outlet. You taste test pastry items made from production to ensure consistent quality. You complete production records in an accurate and timely manner. You assist in developing new products for a la carte and catering menus on a rotating basis. You clean equipment and workstations thoroughly during and at the end of each shift to maintain proper sanitation and orderliness.

You know your efforts contribute towards ensuring our customers are provided with an enjoyable and comfortable dining experience. Creating amazing pastries, desserts and other baked goods are your passions. You take great pride in a sanitary, organized workspace, and you enjoy working with a team of committed Food and Beverage professionals. You have previous experience in a 4 Diamond or 4 Star hotel or restaurant. You have solid knife handling skills, pastry and baked goods knowledge, along with the ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as recipe yields, serving size, weight and temperature conversion. You may have an Associates Degree in Baking and Pastry.
