Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform mammography scans using specialized equipment- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures- Position patients correctly for optimal imaging results- Operate X-ray and other medical imaging equipment- Collaborate with radiologists to provide diagnostic evaluation of mammograms- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines- Provide patient education regarding the mammography process
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Mammography Technologist- Proficient in performing mammography scans and interpreting results- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to mammography- Familiarity with other imaging modalities such as CT, PET scan, and X-ray- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including emergency room settings- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in image capture and documentation- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
Salary: $55-$65 an hour
