Responsibilities
Excellent opportunity for a Hospitalist and or Nocturnist interested in practicing in Northern RI. Teaching hospital with great location and easy access by highways. Boston and NY a drive away.
We are looking for a PRN Hospitalist and or Nocturnist to join our growing team!
The physician will take admissions from the ED, direct admissions from outside providers and consults from specialists. Call responsibility is rotated approximately every 2-3 days within the team on service; therefore, the number of calls assigned varies based on shifts scheduled.
This position can be a day shift or overnight shift depending on applicant’s skill set and preferences. Experienced Case Management group dedicated to facilitating discharges with placement. Knowledgeable and seasoned clinical staff and great support from administration. Fair and equal distribution of patients and work matched with competitive rates (1099 based) makes this a great opportunity!
Qualifications
1. 3-5 years' work experience
2. Board certified or Board eligible, Internal Medicine
3. Current RI Medical License - MD or DO (or in process)
4. Unrestricted Current DEA Registration
5. Clean background
6. Team Player
