Responsibilities
As a Hospitalist at Centinela Hospital Medical Center, you will:• Provide comprehensive inpatient care to a diverse patient population, including admissions, daily rounding, and discharges.• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing staff, specialists, and case managers, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.• Manage acute medical conditions, oversee continuity of care, and coordinate transitions of care.• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver cost-effective, patient-centered care.• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff, demonstrating empathy and cultural sensitivity.
Qualifications
• Medical Degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.• Valid California medical license or eligibility to obtain one prior to start date.• Commitment to excellence in patient care and teamwork.• Strong organizational, clinical, and communication skills.
Pay Transparency
Centinela Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation and the current compensation range for this role is $250,000-$350,000 Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure
