Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive podiatric evaluations and foot care in patients’ homes.
- Diagnose and treat foot and ankle conditions, including infections, wounds, and musculoskeletal issues.
- Perform routine diabetic foot care, nail care, and callus removal.
- Develop treatment plans and coordinate with primary care physicians, specialists, and care managers.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Provide patient education on foot health, wound prevention, and self-care.
Salary: $130,000-$200,000 May Include Bonuses & Incentives
Qualifications
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited school.
- Current NY State podiatry license and DEA registration.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for house call visits.
- Experience working with geriatric or homebound patients preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
