Job Summary
Position Title: Vascular Technician
Responsibilities
- Insures that all equipment is in proper operating condition, stored and secured in a designated area.
- Identifies patient and evaluates for medical precautions: review patient’s case with Clinicianneeded prior to starting vascular testing procedures
- Maintains all equipment and material in proper order in compliance with the companypolicies and procedure; maintains an orderly and safe lab environment as per departmental
- Enters all patient demographics and clinical findings in EHR.
- Prepares final reports for review and signature from medical personnel
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalency required.
- Completion Of Vascular Technician Program
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) is a plusCertification Preferred (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, ARDMS)
- Experience with upper and lower extremity doplarsFamiliarity with venous ablations
- 1 year of experience
SPI certified required
RVT Required
$30.00-$40.00 an hour
