Sodexo is seeking a Production Manager 2 for Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC. Cape Fear Valley Medical Center is a trauma level III acute care hospital and has 733 licensed beds with 78 rehabilitation beds. This hospital is part of the Cape Fear Valley Health System and is the 8th largest health system in the state with 916 patient beds, serving a six-county region of Southeastern North Carolina and more than 935,000 patients annually
What You'll Do
The Production Manager will come with an energetic and results-driven personality, be a self-starter who can run with things with little direction, and have a proven ability to maintain organization and safety in a high-volume kitchen. This position will be responsible for tray line and retail production as well as direct oversight of frontline associates.
- directly manage all culinary operations relating to retail, patient feeding, and catering;
- maintain schedules; cover schedule as needed;
- implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for hospital;
- monitor, audit, implement and standardize new menus;
- be responsible for Food and Physical Safety and annual training for 15 frontline staff;
- conduct audits, create action plans based on audit findings and be responsible for keeping and updating GC audit books;
- work with vendors on procurement items; be responsible for purchasing manager and purchasing financial audits;
- conduct yearly culinary foundations training to all cooks;
- improve and standardize catering services, create menus based on client needs;
- implement innovative and fresh ideas in retail, catering and patient services; and/or
- create interpersonal relationships with clients in hospital.
