Specific Responsibilities Would Include
The Associate Account Executive for Amazon will contribute to and execute sales strategies set by the Division in order to maximize sales, revenue and margins, support and promote the brand(s), develop and maintain best in class relationships with our buyers. This position requires previous experience with e-commerce customers such as Amazon.
Strategy & Innovation
- Contribute to cultivation of new opportunities to expand business with an existing customer; identify and strategize means to penetrate new categories.
- Research and perform competitive analysis; monitor relevant trends and communicate to internal partners, where appropriate.
- Collaboratively develop line plan for each brand, in context of larger assortment and cost structure, and customize each customer; create and execute seasonal business proposals with suggested assortments based on marketplace and customer base.
- Develop and execute digital assortment, merchandising, and A+ content strategies.
Operations & Results
- Select product assortment and place seasonal fashion buy
- Manage New Item Set-Ups (NIS) templates- launching new products through the year and monitor performance for potential go-forward styles
- Drive product launches by partnering with design and marketing teams to create and submit New Item Set Up (NIS) templates.
- Manage Amazon catalog- attribute product optimizations to improve product pages. Partner with Amazon retail team on page merges and updates.
- Monitor Amazon Detail pages to make sure optimizations are in place
- Responsible for the management and growth of the Amazon order file for specific business. Work cross-functionally with order management team on daily review of shipments, orders, changes in distribution and deliveries to secure and ensure timely fulfillment of all orders.
- Monitor, assemble and analyze weekly sales and stock levels; devise strategies and make recommendations to customers and internal partners regarding merchandising, markdowns and orders/reorders.
- Leverage marketing and imaging resources to create product pages with enhanced digital content.
Customers & Relationships
- Cultivate, develop and maintain relationship with Amazon Retail team (buyers, planning, supply chain, etc.) and our 3rd party Amazon agency.
- Collaborate and build relationships with internal cross functional teams – design, operations, planning sales
- Manage communications and feedback between customers and internal partners in Sales, Design, Marketing and Production.
- Provide proactive category insights – be looked at as a joint business partner.
Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience preferably working with Amazon or within wholesale apparel industry
- Previous experience calling on Amazon, Strong knowledge of customer strategy and key levers as well as competitors, Proven knowledge of retailer strategies and objectives
- Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented and outgoing.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, highly detail oriented and meticulous.
- Strong analytical skills and fluent in retail math.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills with ability to manage large data files; familiarity with SAP a plus.
- Knowledge of product development, trends, supply chain, packaging, advertising, and sales.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
