Job Description
We are looking for a Bartender to join our team at The Owners Box who can deliver efficient, friendly, and attentive service to every guest. The ideal candidate will help maintain a clean, professional, and high-quality bar within the restaurant, creating a welcoming environment that enhances the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities
Set up and maintain a clean, efficient, and well-organized bar throughout the shift
Provide upscale, fine-dining level service to guests
Possess in-depth knowledge of all wines, spirits, beers, and the full food menu
Confidently sell and present wine, including proper service techniques
Demonstrate strong sales and communication skills to enhance the guest experience
Greet and approach guests in a professional and welcoming manner
Accurately take and deliver food and beverage orders
Regularly check back with guests to ensure satisfaction
Prepare and serve drinks from the service bar
Maintain clean and tidy service areas throughout the shift
Assist guests as they depart, ensuring a positive final impression
Adhere to uniform and appearance standards at all times
Complete other duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of two years of bartending experience in a high-volume or upscale environment
Extensive knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktail preparation
At least one year of restaurant service experience preferred
Pleasant, professional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong sales abilities and guest service focus
Valid Food Handler's Certification (required)
Valid TABC (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) Certification (required)
