Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated Therapy Coordinator to support our therapy department in arranging Durable Medical Equipment (DME) for patients transitioning from hospital care to a home setting. We are looknig for someone that is proficient with basic computer applications, has strong interpersonal and communication skills, and is highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
They will coordinate and process DME orders for discharged patients. Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals via in-person, email, and phone interactions.Utilize basic computer skills to manage documentation and order tracking. Maintain excellent time management and organizational practices to ensure timely delivery of equipment.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent required.
- 3 years Administrative Assistant experience or similar role required. Previous hospital experience with knowledge of therapy and rehab in general preferred.
- Proficient skills with computers, software and office equipment required.
