Job Summary and Responsibilities
Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering the highest quality patient care according to the specific orders of each patient’s individual physician. This will involve, utilizing your knowledge and skills to educate patients and their families on prevention and healthy habits.
Essential Duties
- Provides continuous cardiac monitoring, arrhythmia recognition and intervention.
- Initiates and titrates multiple, complex cardiac related infusions at higher doses.
- Manages intubated/mechanically ventilated patients.
- Manages patients with acute neurological/neurosurgical events. Manages acute trauma patients.
Job Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required. BSN Preferred.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing required.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or attainment within six months of hire required.
- CCRN/Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) preferred.
- Previous PCU or ICU experience preferred. Previous Emergency room experience also considered.
