What You'll Be Doing
Treats patients in critical/coronary care unit to ensure proper injury care and disease diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists as necessary.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrates knowledge and competencies in the following areas:
- Respiratory dysfunction
- Cardiovascular dysfunction
- Neurological dysfunction
- Neuromuscular dysfunction
- Renal dysfunctional
- Gastrointestinal dysfunction
- Hepatic Dysfunction
- Hematological disorders
- Oncology disorders
- Evaluate nutritional support for critical ill patients also with endocrine disorders
- Patient with trauma or septic illness
- Interpretation of diagnostic test results
- Collecting information related to patient and integration in clinical plans
- Communication with patient’s relatives, referring hospital etc.
- Acute & chronic pain management
- Pre & post-operative check up
What We're Looking For
- Requires a MD degree from an accredited school.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine
- State license or (obtain NJ license) and certification
- Strong decision making, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience using eClinicalWorks and/or Meditech preferred
- Strong teamworking, leadership, and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- All experience levels encouraged to apply
