The new iconic landmark offers unforgettable views of the Atlantic paired with unrivalled convenience and intelligently designed meeting spaces. The hotel will be directly connected to the Broward County Convention Center, immediately adjacent to Port Everglades cruise terminal and less than two miles from Fort Lauderdale Airport.

Be a part of the pre-opening team for the Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel!
Opening Fall 2025, the Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel is a 29-story hotel, located at 1850 Eisenhower Blvd, and connected directly to the Broward County Convention. The property offers 801 guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a vibrant rooftop bar, a sprawling pool, spa, and fitness center. The hotel will also have over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, 25 breakout rooms and pre-function meeting space with waterfront views.
The Stylist is responsible for guest satisfaction in the spa by performing services to the best of their ability and maintaining Omni standards throughout all procedures.
Responsibilities
- To work as part of the spa therapy team to consistently provide the highest possible standard of treatment, creating a sensory journey for guests helping them to rest, relax and regain a sense of balance and harmony in their lives.
- Responsible for setting up the hair service area according to procedures and dispose of laundry in a timely basis.
- Maintain sanitation of work area and equipment as required by state board guidelines.
- Ensure all professional stock is being used in compliance with the PAR levels to assist with reduction in product waste.
- To begin and end hair services at the published time and ensure correct procedures of all hair services are being followed at all times.
- Provide the highest quality in terms of hair service and professional concept.
- Strive to consistently produce a minimum of 15% in retail sales.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 1 year minimum experience in hair services
- Current State of Florida Cosmetology License.
- Proficient skills in cutting, blow dry styling and special occasion hairstyling , and possibility for future coloring services
- Good verbal/written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Commitment to exceeding the expectations of customers, always operating with a strong attention to detail to the client’s needs.
- Ability to work well under pressure, managing back-to-back appointments in a high volume 4 diamond environment.
- Responsible and dependable with ability to fulfill on-call scheduling needs.
- Must obtain a current City Business Tax Permit with the city of Fort Lauderdale upon hire.
- Must obtain a State of Florida Alcoholic Beverage Commission server permit.
ENVIRONMENT & POSITION ANALYSIS:
- Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 20 pounds without assistance. Stand and/or sit for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Requires repetitive motion, with consistent use of hands and arms.
TOOLS & EQUIPMENT:
- Desktop computer, selected spa program, printer, telephone, copier, fax machine and scanner. Cleaning supplies such as vacuum, mop, broom, duster and chemicals.
