Job Summary and Responsibilities
Is expected to perform duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the organization. Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan, Joint Commission and other licensing, accrediting and regulatory agencies. Provides care for patients of newborn through geriatric ages. Is expected to practice skills taught previously in the RN training program in order to become more proficient in the procedures routinely performed by RNs. The NE may provide patient care, including treatments and sterile procedures, under the supervision of a RN preceptor. The NE is responsible to the assigned RN preceptor for patient care and nursing procedures, excluding taking or noting physician's orders and skills for which the student has been given no prior formal instruction.

- Completion of one medical surgical clinical rotation.
- BASIC LIFE SUPPORT-AHA (CT CPRBLS)
- Able to communicate and write clearly in English.
- Work at a fast pace in an active work environment.
- Stand and walk for prolong periods of time.
- Must be currently enrolled and in good standing
