Responsibilities
- Assist patients in exercise, ambulation, functional activities, and the application/use of assistive devices in accordance with the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist
- Assist Physical Therapist in the collection of outcome measures and completion of complex treatment procedures
- Educate patients, families, and other health workers on selected procedures and functional activities as directed by Physical Therapist
- Participate in ongoing program evaluation and development
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all care provided
- Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to the APTA Practice Act and Code of Ethics
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Degree from a certified physical therapy assistant training program
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant certification and license to practice in state of application
- Minimum of 1 year experience preferred, related to treatment of complex neurological injuries
- Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques
- Current CPR certification
