Job Description
The server will handle the guest dining experience from start to finish. The server will craft memories for our guest in our various dining outlets.
Responsibilities
• Knowledge of fine dining service.• Must have full familiarity with menus.• Must have full knowledge of beverage offerings.• Station set-up and breakdown/side-work/stocking of station.• To polish and clean the water glasses in his/her assigned station before opening hours.• Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.• Service to guests including alcoholic beverage.• Table maintenance.• Be pleasant, smile and greet all guests, using surnames when obtained.
Qualifications
• 2 years fine equivalent service experience. (prefereed)• Flexibility in scheduling including availability on all holidays and weekends.• Dependable; must be able to work split shifts and straight shifts.• Willingness to cross-train and be scheduled in any dining outlet at resort, including tea service.• Must have or obtain ABC and ServeSafe certification or willing to obtain prior to offically starting the job.• Takes ownership of situations and ensures satisfaction.• Is empowered to solve guest issues.• Ability to merchandise or up sell at every table.• Knowledge of appropriate verbiage for fine dining setting.• Willingness to accept direction and coaching.• Strong comprehension and speech of English language.• Must be at least 18 years of age.• Continuous standing, walking, hand eye coordination, and carrying/lifting of 15 to 20 pounds.
