What You'll Be Doing
As a Groundskeeper you will be responsible for maintaining, and caring for the system's hospital grounds and performing outside maintenance. Responsible for all groundkeeeping tasks to maintain the facility in a safe, sanitary, attractive and orderly condition with minimal interference to others.
Responsible for meticulous upkeep/cleanliness of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and common areas, parking lots and other campus buildings.
- Duties will include mowing, landscaping of flower beds, snow removal, road repair and restriping.
- Removal of outter trash containers daily from the building.
- Operates mechanical equipment properly and safely.
- Ensures equipment is in acceptable condition by conducting routine inspections.
What We're Looking For
Full Time, Day Shift
with rotating weekends and on-call requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalency required
- Minimum one (1) year as Groundskeeping, in the care of maintenance of landscapes or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience using large groundskeeping equipment perferred
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be available for snow removal on a seven day per week, 24-hour per day basis
- Must have a valid Driver's License in good standing
