What You'll Be Doing
Examines and diagnoses disorders and diseases of the nervous system. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition.
The successful candidate will be able to:
- Diagnose and treat various neurological conditions
- Consult with patients on aftercare and long-term health management strategies
- Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatments or medication as needed
- Prescribe treatments or medication best suited to improve the patient’s condition
- Order tests and interpret results in order to determine the best treatment options
- Attend training and seminars to stay up to date on the latest trends and developments in neurology
- Perform any and all other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Board Eligible/Board Certified – Neurology (Required)
- Medical degree and the successful completion of a residency and fellowship in Neurology
- State license or (obtain NJ license) and certification to practice Neurology
- Strong decision making, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Prior experience using eClinicalWorks and/or Meditech preferred
