Responsibilities
The Human Resources Partner – Employee Relations conducts complex workplace investigations on employee concerns, claims of harassment, hostile work environment, discrimination, retaliation, breach of confidentiality, etc. Will serve as a subject matter expert on Human Resources policies, procedures and programs. Provides support to department heads and employees to resolve employee relations issues. May provide coaching and counseling to department heads in the area of employee training, corrective action/performance improvement, terminations, investigations, and employee complaints/grievances. Will perform special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
Required qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
2. At least two (2) years of Human Resources work experience handling employee relations and workplace investigations required.
3. Knowledge of state and federal employment law.
4. Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
5. Must obtain Sexual Harassment certification within 6 months, and then maintain biennially.
6. Ability to travel required.
Preferred qualifications:
1. Human Resources Professional Certification preferred.
