Provide direct support to individuals in therapeutically developed program activities in a Community Based Day Support (CBDS) program and / or employment opportunities. Perform the required training and documentation necessary for group and individual participant goal achievement. As a direct support professional, you may be required to provide essential care and support to individuals with a diverse spectrum of abilities and challenges.
Pay: $20.50/hourly

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized and group instructional units across various settings.
- Ensure delivery of Individual Support Plan (ISP) requirements, including direct support and documentation.
- Support individuals in work and community environments based on their needs.
- Implement behavior support strategies in collaboration with the clinical team.
- Provide transportation to assigned locations.
- Work on-site or off-site as directed by the supervisor.
- Encourage personal growth through choice, initiation, and risk-taking opportunities.
- Treat individuals with dignity, respect, and cultural sensitivity.
- Maintain required trainings, certifications, and licensures.
- Safeguard sensitive and confidential information.
- Uphold and model the organization’s philosophy, mission, and values.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma/GED/HiSET required.
- Standard driver’s license (Class C or D).
- 1–3 years of related experience preferred.
- Completion of healthcare training or competency evaluation program preferred.
- Alternative qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent plus two years' experience (preferred) working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a day program or vocational setting. A related Bachelor's' degree may be used to substitute part or all of the work experience.
