Overview
Essen Health Care is developing its own population health and practice management solution. We are seeking a cross-functional Project Manager in the Development team to serve as a crucial liaison, facilitating robust communication between our technology, clinical teams, and operations. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of both business and technical processes to effectively guide project direction. The Project Manager will be responsible for building and coordinating a team to integrate business requirements across various Lines of Business (LOBs), aligning these with the needs of business and clinical teams as well as LOB stakeholders. Additionally, the Project Manager will collaborate with our remote product and development teams in India to oversee the delivery of these capabilities and ensure their adoption within the organization. This internal implementation will act as a "sandbox," allowing us to refine the project before its successful external release and marketing.
Founded in 1999, Essen provides care in all five boroughs of New York City, with a primary focus in the Bronx. Staffed by over 300 primary and specialty care physicians and advanced clinicians, Essen Health Care is one of the largest, most comprehensive private medical groups in New York City. Essen maintains a Clinical Information Services team that maintains our enterprise-wide electronic medical record system, data repository, clinical analytics and population health capabilities. Our Community Services teams creates and sustains relationship with community organizations and agencies and health plans.
Job Summary
Title: Project Manager
Reporting to: Vice President of Product
Job Summary: The Project Manager will play an integral role in the development and drive of the product plan while also managing the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) cycle. This person will work with the existing team to analyze and coordinate the schedule, timeline, procurement, staffing, and budget of the projects. The PM should encompass a diverse range of initiatives aimed at improving patient care, streamlining operations, and enhancing healthcare delivery across the organization.
Responsibilities
· Responsible for the day-to-day coordination and efficient operation of product roadmap
· Develop a detailed and comprehensive project plan including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, while considering the unique requirements of healthcare projects.
· Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, to ensure effective project execution and communication
· Collaborate with other PMs to improve the efficiency and quality of the delivery output/healthcare product
· Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize delays or obstacles.
· Maintain detailed project documentation, track progress, and provide regular reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
· Support all ADHOC projects as they arise
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
· Proven experience as a PM in a SaaS company under the development team
· Proven experience in project management within the healthcare industry, including successful project completion
· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
· Minimum 3+ years’ experience or exposure to Project Management
· Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
· Detail-oriented and highly organized

Salary: 75,000-95,000 annually
