Position Summary
Events by RHC is looking for a part-time Driver to join our growing team! The driver is responsible for timely and accurate transportation of all food, beverage, and equipment to and from events.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $20.00-$22.00
Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching
This position will remain open until December 19, 2025.
About the Venue
EVENTS BY RHC is a boutique off-premise caterer based in New York City. Inspired by international cuisine, modern dining and exceptional service, we proudly bring a modern take to event dining.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for loading and unloading truck
- Deliver all food, beverage, and equipment to events as scheduled
- Pick-up all food, beverage, and equipment from events as scheduled
- Direct communication with event captain when scheduled event delivery or pick-up is delayed
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and fuel level
- Report any necessary vehicle maintenance and repairs to BOH Operations manager immediately
- Follow all federal, state and local driving rules and regulations
- Report immediately any tickets to BOH Operations Manager
- Put away product in proper areas upon event return as directed by Evening Supervisor or BOH Operations Manager
- Daily sign-out and return of vehicle gas card
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Hand shop food and equipment as directed by BOH Operations Manager or Chef
- Perform various other tasks as assigned by BOH Operations Manager and/or Event Services Director
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in food service industry or as a commercial driver
- Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license
- Must demonstrate good time management and organizational skills required
- Professional work ethic and demeanor
- Effective communication skills and ability to work with all levels of management
- Ability to work in a clean, organized, and efficient manner
- Ability to lift 30+ pounds, push/pull 50+ pounds
