- Perform imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment while adhering to safety standards and protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care.
- Maintain inventory and assist in ordering necessary supplies for the department.
- Capturing high-quality cardiac images
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of cath lab or special procedure experience in hospital setting required.
- High School graduate or equivalent required. Completion of formal radiology technology training in an AMA approved school meeting ARRT requirements.
- License is required as issued by ARRT (national) CRT (state) and Fluoroscopy certification.
- AHA BLS card required
- AHA ACLS card required within 90 days of hire.
- Fire Safety card required within 90 days of hire.
This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement.
