Responsibilities
We are seeking a curious, motivated actuarial intern to join our team for Summer 2026. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of actuarial projects, including initiatives emerging from our internal Innovation Lab. These projects may span traditional actuarial modeling, advanced analytics, and the application of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.
You must work out of the Chesterfield, Missouri office.
Key functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Collaborate with experienced actuaries on core actuarial tasks including pricing and reserving.
- Contribute to Innovation Lab projects, which may involve AI applications, automation, or novel modeling techniques.
- Work cross -functionally with teams such as claims, underwriting, and finance, depending on project scope.
- Assist in developing and refining models and tools to support strategic decision making.
- Present findings and recommendations to actuarial leadership and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
Qualifications:
- Completion of at least one actuarial exam preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in innovation, technology, and applying new tools to actuarial work.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for tackling challenging, open-ended projects.
