Position Summary
IT Tech Support plays a critical role in supporting seasonal operations, particularly during high-traffic holiday events in the Front Yard area. This position ensures the reliability and performance of point-of-sale (POS) systems, network infrastructure, and software applications that are essential for smooth guest experiences. As the Front Yard becomes a hub for festive activities throughout the holiday season, the IT Tech Support team works proactively to troubleshoot technical issues, implement system updates, and provide on-site support to F&B staff, helping maintain seamless service during peak event times.
This is a seasonal role from November 13, 2025 to January 13, 2026.
This role pays an hourly rate of $25.00 - $30.00
This position will remain open until December 31, 2025.
Responsibilities
- Installation and Configuration: install and configure POS hardware and software components, ensuring that all systems are operational and meet user needs.
- Troubleshooting and Support: diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, providing technical support to users and act as the first point of contact for IT-related problems.
- System Maintenance: Regular maintenance tasks include performing system backups, updates, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and security of IT systems.
- User Training: train users on new systems and software, ensuring that staff can effectively utilize technology in their roles.
- Documentation: manage technical documentation, including system configurations, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides, to maintain a clear record of IT operations.
- Network Management: responsible for setting up and maintaining network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and cabling.
- Security Management: implement and manage security measures, such as antivirus software and firewalls, to protect the organization’s data and systems from threats.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in IT technical support or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise systems, including:
- Oracle for financial and operational processes.
- Square for point-of-sale and payment processing.
- FreedomPay for secure payment solutions and integrations.
- Strong understanding of payment workflows and transaction security.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize system performance across multiple platforms.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Preferred: Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or vendor-specific POS certifications).
