Responsibilities
The following statements are intended to describe the major elements and requirements of the position and should not be taken as an all inclusive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required of an individual assigned to this job. Performs and operates highly specialized radiological and digital recording equipment as he/she assists on all special procedures in the Radiology Department. The RT assists in the care for the young adult, adult, and geriatric patients receiving diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Radiology Department. This care includes and is not limited to utilizing fluoro & Xray, developing films, labeling and storage of films, providing radiation protection for self, the staff and the patient, quality control on all Xray related processes, maintenance of accurate procedural film log and filing system for reports and films, and communicating knowledge of equipment capabilities and limitations appropriately to the physicians.
Assists in Maintaining Performance Improvement Program. Promotes teamwork and good customer service. Does scheduling for assigned sub departments and maintains supplies and equipment for assigned sub department(s).
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Must have CRT (ARRT & Fluoroscopy permit preferred)
2. Must be proficient in either 2 modalities (Qualification 1) or 1 modality and hold a supervisory position (Qualification 2)
3. Must maintain BCLS throughout employment
4. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations
5. One year of ACUTE Clinical Radiography desired.
6. One year in Second Modality is required. Advanced Certification maybe substituted.
7. Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT

Centinela Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status, i.e. full-time or part-time. The current compensation range for this role is $35.96 to $48.55. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
