We are looking for a full-time Pediatric Dental Assistant to add to our team. We are an amazing pediatric practice with state-of-the-art technology. We are looking for a confident Dental Assistant who is caring, compassionate, and loves working with kids. Must be clinically experienced, demonstrates a positive attitude, interpersonal skills, strong work ethic & takes initiative to ensure every patient’s visit is a 5-star visit. Salary commensurate with experience. Candidates must have experience with nitrous to be considered! Hours are : Monday- Thursday 8:00am- 5:00 pm. Every other Friday 8a-2pm

Responsibilities
- Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
- Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
- Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program
or
- Six months on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)
- X-Ray certification
- Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended
- High school diploma or equivalent
Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
