Responsibilities
Classroom Instruction: Deliver engaging lessons in your assigned academic/vocational content area(s), following curriculum guidelines and daily lesson plans.
Student Supervision: Actively manage and supervise students in the classroom, utilizing strategies tailored to individual needs to foster a positive learning environment.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of student work and progress, complete incident reports as needed and provide other necessary documentation in a timely manner.
Collaboration: Participate in case management and planning meetings with staff, contributing to discussions on student progress and behavior.
Behavioral Support: Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans to support students’ academic and personal growth.
Engagement in Activities: Supervise recreational activities to support holistic student development outside of the classroom.
Ongoing Professional Development: Attend meetings and training sessions as requested by the Director of Education or their designee to continually improve teaching strategies and student outcomes.
Qualifications
QualificationsOur top priority is to hire highly qualified master’s level, licensed teachers who are passionate about supporting youth in a therapeutic and educational environment.
Preferred Qualifications:• Master’s degree in education, Special Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field• Current Massachusetts teaching license (or eligibility for licensure through DESE)• Experience working with students with emotional, behavioral, or learning challenges• Strong classroom management and communication skills• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team

Education:A bachelor’s degree is preferred, though not required.
Experience:1–3 years of experience in an educational or related setting.
