Job Summary and Responsibilities
- Deliver the best possible care to your set of assigned patients
- Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation
- Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging
- Registered Nurse License, in good standing (State of Arkansas, or compact state, required prior to hire)
- 6 months of acute care experience is required (new graduates or nurses who have never worked in an acute care setting are hired through our residency training program)
- Previous med surg experience is preferred, but not required
- BLS through the American Heart Association is required
- Additional certifications (like ACLS or PALS) may be required depending on the unit
