Pay: $17.50 - $21.33 per hour
Responsibilities
This role is primarily responsible for:
- Meal preparation, including cooking for 12 patients
- Following approved menus
- General facility cleaning, including patient suites, kitchen, and common area.
- Suite management
- Household management
- Grocery management - purchasing and inventory
- Ordering/shopping
Kitchen infection control and appropriate food labeling.
- Laundry
- Driving
- Community integration activities
- Patient monitoring and documentation as appropriate
This role may include assisting with patient functional activities, kitchen safety, or general oversight- according to therapist direction, or facility need.
Driving as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- BLS certification through American Heart Association required
- Current State Driver's License in good standing required
Preferred Experience
- 2 years experience in an assisted living or rehabilitation environment preferred
- Experience in housekeeping and food services preferred
- Ability to delegate and problem solve effectively
