Job Summary and Responsibilities
Provides oversight of the activities on a nursing unit during a specific shift including serving as a resource to staff, directing patient flow, assuring appropriate utilization of resources, and providing oversight for the provision of quality care in a manner satisfying to patients.
Position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the organization. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee will support the organization's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the hospital wide performance improvement plan.

Job Requirements
Minimum:
Experience Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Basic Computer Skills
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (in monitored areas) within 9 months of hire - American Heart Association
Preferred Pediatric Life support (PALs) or ENPC obtained within 12 months of hire - American Heart Association
BLS - American Heart Association
Two years recent ED
